Overview
This role is part of a Products Liability Practice Group defending product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers as trial and global coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort cases. The group supports clients across cutting-edge industries, including AI/robotics, automotive and autonomous vehicles, consumer products, food and wine, connected products, medical devices, pharmaceutical, retail and cosmetics, and technology.
The position is a reduced schedule, remote, non-partnership track opportunity with an hourly target of 1,400 hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage product liability or commercial litigation matters with a high degree of autonomy
- Draft briefs and correspondence
- Respond to written discovery
- Manage document collection, review, and production
- Support causation and/or failure analysis
- Work on multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
- Provide excellent client service
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of experience
- Products Liability or Commercial Litigation (required)
- Strong case management skills and work ethic
- Team-oriented attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Active member of the bar in the state where you reside and in a state where the employer has an office or are eligible to waive into one of those states
- Willing to work on west coast time if not located in the west coast region of the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $150,000 for all posted locations
