Overview
This role involves handling sophisticated commercial and business disputes within a high-level litigation practice. Work is fully remote, with substantial autonomy over matters and close collaboration with experienced trial attorneys.
Pay & Bonus Potential
- $225,000.00 - $325,000.00 per year
- Meaningful performance-based bonus potential
Responsibilities
- Manage sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters from case development through resolution.
- Develop litigation strategy and analyze complex legal and factual issues.
- Draft persuasive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive filings.
- Lead written discovery, document analysis, and case development.
- Take and defend depositions and participate meaningfully in hearings and trial preparation.
- Work directly with clients and provide practical, strategic legal guidance.
- Communicate effectively with opposing counsel, courts, clients, and internal teams.
- Independently manage multiple complex matters while maintaining exceptional work quality.
- Collaborate with experienced trial counsel on high-stakes disputes.
- Take increasing responsibility for case strategy, client relationships, and courtroom advocacy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of substantive commercial litigation experience in private practice
- J.D. from a Top 100 U.S. law school
- Active bar license in the state in which they reside
- Sophisticated commercial, business, or complex civil litigation background
- Candidates whose experience is primarily insurance defense, personal injury, or family law will not be considered
- Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Meaningful experience with motions, discovery, depositions, and substantive case responsibility
- Ability to independently manage demanding litigation matters
Preferred Qualifications
- Current private practice law firm experience strongly preferred
- Experience at a sophisticated law firm strongly preferred
- Big Law, Am Law, or highly regarded midsize firm training is valued but not required
- Trial, arbitration, or significant courtroom experience is a plus
- Portable business is welcome but not required

Location
Fully remote within the United States, primarily targeting attorneys based in major U.S. metropolitan legal markets. Candidates must maintain an active bar license in the state in which they reside.
