Overview
Litigation Attorney position with an established boutique law firm handling creditor bankruptcy, business litigation, real estate law, and financial services litigation.
- Location: San Rafael, California (remote flexibility considered)
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: $180,000–$300,000 (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial or settlement.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, with a focus on business, bankruptcy, and financial litigation.
- Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft motions, pleadings, and contracts.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver exceptional representation.
- Handle a variety of cases in a fast-paced, high-stakes litigation practice.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, preferably in bankruptcy, real estate, or financial services.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation skills, and legal research abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience working with lenders, mortgage brokers, or business clients is a plus.
