Overview
A national law firm with multiple U.S. locations is seeking a Section 337 Litigation Associate with preferably three to six years of experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). Candidates with experience in at least two Section 337 ITC cases and familiarity with ITC-specific issues such as domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure are preferred. Knowledge of intellectual property law is required, though a technical background is not necessary. The role primarily supports attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Section 337 litigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission
- Handle ITC-specific legal issues including domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and procedural rules
- Collaborate with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation practice group
- Manage multiple projects and articulate legal strategies effectively
Requirements
- Three to six years of experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission, including participation in at least two Section 337 cases
- Knowledge of ITC-specific issues and intellectual property law
- Active bar license in the state corresponding to the office location or commitment to obtain one promptly
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to manage multiple projects

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary with a range of $215,000 to $250,000 in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., commensurate with qualifications and experience
