An established California estate planning and special needs law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join their fully remote team. The firm specializes in providing high-quality estate planning and probate services, with a focus on supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. Responsibilities
- Lead initial estate planning and special needs planning consultations to assess client needs and develop tailored strategies
- Manage limited conservatorship cases, including drafting, filing, and court representation
- Draft core estate planning documents such as trusts, wills, and powers of attorney
- Conduct online court appearances for limited conservatorship matters
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure smooth case progression and excellent client service
- Support clients through trust administration processes to ensure organized and efficient administration
Qualifications
- Active California Bar License
- Experience with special needs planning and limited conservatorships
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a remote team
- Compassionate and client-focused approach with high professionalism
- Motivation to develop expertise in special needs planning
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000, based on experience
- Full-time position, 35 hours per week (approximately 1,300 billable hours per year)
