Overview

A tech-driven immigration law firm based in New York is seeking an experienced Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to join their legal team. The firm specializes in U.S. business immigration and utilizes proprietary case management technology to streamline processes and maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own the final review process for business immigration filings before submission.
  • Critically review USCIS and related government forms, supporting evidence, and filing packages for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Ensure exhibits are complete, properly labeled, correctly ordered, and appropriately cross-referenced within filing packages.
  • Identify and resolve issues such as missing signatures, incorrect dates, and inconsistencies across case files.
  • Maintain high quality standards at scale by ensuring filings meet firm and case-specific requirements.
  • Review cover letters, forms, and supporting documents for clarity, grammar, formatting, and overall presentation.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and paralegals to provide feedback, resolve issues, and advance cases efficiently.
  • Escalate legal or strategic concerns to attorneys when deeper review is required.
  • Contribute to improving workflows by developing better processes, templates, checklists, and quality control systems.
  • Support a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement through strong systems and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in U.S. business immigration with the ability to proactively identify potential issues.
  • Deep understanding of employment-based immigration filings, supporting evidence, and characteristics of strong filing packages.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, capable of catching inconsistencies, missing documents, and formatting errors.
  • Strong focus on quality and compliance with experience reviewing final filings prior to submission.
  • Excellent written English skills with the ability to clarify complex information in a polished and accurate manner.
  • Hands-on experience with E-1, E-2, L-1, H-1B, EB-2, and EB-3 PERM filings.
  • Ability to work quickly without compromising quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Good judgment to determine what can be corrected independently and when attorney involvement is necessary.
  • Comfortable using legal technology, case management systems, and digital workflows.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing complex business immigration cases and identifying issues early.
  • Background in final review, quality control, or audit-focused roles within an immigration practice.
  • Proficiency in Turkish is a plus.
