Senior Claims Lawyer (REMOTE)

Overview

A partner organization is seeking a Senior Claims Attorney to work remotely. This role involves managing large loss litigated casualty claims and ensuring legal proceedings comply with organizational standards. The attorney will provide strategic legal guidance to claims professionals, collaborate with defense counsel, control litigation costs, and develop effective litigation strategies. This position serves as a key resource for the General Liability team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of large loss litigated casualty claims
• Provide strategic legal consultation to claims professionals
• Collaborate closely with defense counsel to ensure effective litigation
• Control litigation costs and maintain oversight of legal files
• Develop and implement sound litigation strategies
• Serve as a trusted resource for the General Liability team
• Train claims personnel to ensure consistent file handling

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience handling large loss litigated claims
• Must have passed the Bar exam
• Strong understanding of litigation processes
• Ability to provide effective legal advice
• Experience managing litigation costs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $151,250
