The ideal candidate will have expertise in laws and regulations affecting channel sales, the ability to manage a variety of complex partner and alliance agreements, and the skill to provide pragmatic, actionable legal advice to partner sales, programs, and operations teams.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to the channel sales organization regarding global partner programs, strategic partnerships, and initiatives.
- Advise on legal risks including anti-bribery and anti-corruption, third-party risk, antitrust, and competition law related to partner programs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various partnership and alliance agreements such as distribution and resale, services delivery, referral, systems integrator, managed services, and cloud marketplace agreements.
- Advise internal teams on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract execution.
- Respond promptly to legal advice requests from business teams, communicating complex legal concepts in an understandable manner.
- Support continuous improvement of standard agreements, negotiation playbooks, contract templates, internal policies, and legal processes.
- Manage a heavy workflow by prioritizing tasks effectively and delivering results efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of in-house legal experience, preferably in a technology company.
- Strong emphasis on strategic alliances, negotiating a high volume of complex partner agreements, supporting partner programs, and advising on channel sales laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with privacy and information security legal issues sufficient to review, draft, and negotiate data protection and information security agreements.
- Admission to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
- Demonstrated success as a practicing lawyer.
- Business-friendly approach with an understanding that the legal team supports business growth and success.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advocate positions collaboratively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and as part of a team.
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
- Annual base salary range: $253,000 to $348,000 USD, determined by experience, skills, and geographic location.
