Overview
A leading organization in the technology services industry is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel - Technology Services to join their legal department. This role supports global sales and services teams by providing legal expertise on complex technology services transactions.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Act as a key legal partner advising on complex services and solutions transactions including Device as a Service (DaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Managed Services, and Industry Solutions.
- Manage the legal workstream by supporting negotiations, resolving contractual issues, and coordinating with stakeholders through contract execution.
- Develop a thorough understanding of existing contractual commitments for customers and provide legal support for new service development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and subject matter experts across multiple regions including the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
- Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise technology services or managed services agreements ensuring compliance with company policies and risk frameworks.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience negotiating complex multi-country services contracts within the IT or Telecommunications sector.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to provide clear, practical guidance in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience partnering with sales and commercial teams in a deal-driven environment, with a solid understanding of profitability drivers and legal risk management.
- Ability to operate effectively within a global organization involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
