Overview
A Civil Litigation Defense Law Firm is seeking a Senior Construction Attorney with over 10 years of experience in Insurance Defense to join their team. This remote role supports practice locations in Boston, MA, and Hartford, CT.
Responsibilities
- Defend a variety of Insurance Defense matters including:
- General Liability
- Personal Injury
- Product Liability
- Professional Liability
- Draft motions and legal memoranda
- Summarize depositions
- Prepare for trial
- Manage cases independently from suit inception through settlement or trial (preferred)
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Minimum 10 years of relevant Insurance Defense experience
- Active Connecticut Bar license (required)
- Active Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire Bar license, or ability to transfer UBE scores (preferred)
- Ability to waive into other bars and hold multiple bar admissions is ideal but not required
