A leading organization in the healthcare sector is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join their team. This role involves supporting high-impact legal work that directly contributes to business performance and team success. The position requires collaboration across functions to advance priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes. Location: Remote (U.S. based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $211,682 – $258,149 annually
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel on healthcare regulations and governance
- Collaborate with legal and executive teams within the organization
- Manage and mentor attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff
- Serve as a subject matter expert in specific legal specialties
- Lead decision-making on high-level legal strategies
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
- Application for Washington state license and pending license in other states
- Minimum of twelve years of experience in a health system corporate legal department or law firm
- Significant experience with healthcare transactions, governance, and compliance issues
- Proven leadership and management experience in legal teams
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Licensure to practice law in Washington or pending
- Experience in healthcare negotiations
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations
- Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks
- Understanding of compliance software
- Experience with contract management systems
