Overview
This role is for an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to manage a plaintiff-side employment caseload in a fully remote environment. The position involves drafting, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation, with strategy ownership and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Own employment cases from start to finish in a supportive, fully remote setting
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and mediation briefs using the organization’s cloud-based systems
- Argue motions, take and defend depositions, and prepare for trial
- Drive strategy and make key case decisions independently while collaborating with the team
- Use integrated technology tools to communicate, collaborate, and track performance
- Negotiate to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Deliver a five-star client experience
- Provide mentorship opportunities for junior attorneys as they grow their practice
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- 5+ years of experience in California employment litigation
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Creative, strategic thinking with an ability to thrive in a remote-first, tech-enabled team
- Ability to manage a large caseload while staying organized and proactive
- High motivation and ambition, including a drive to grow income and career
Preferred Qualifications

- Base range: $186k – $220k
