Overview

This role is for a Senior Attorney position focused on insurance defense and trial advocacy. The employer is seeking accomplished litigators with courtroom confidence, leadership experience, and a strategic approach to high-stakes matters.

Please note: An active bar license in the State of Nevada is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop case themes that effectively address and rebut opposing arguments
  • Handle matters independently, including court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
  • Refuse to accept mediocrity in case strategy, preparation, and work quality
  • Manage routine client communications
  • Collaborate with attorneys across experience levels
  • Cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Provide leadership and direction for less experienced attorneys

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA approved school
  • Must be licensed in your state
  • 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition and trial preparation
  • Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial
  • Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
  • Experience with time management systems
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Experience handling insurance defense matters

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $135,000–$180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Annual billable hours bonus: $10,000 plus $7,500 for every additional tier
