Overview
This role is for a senior attorney focused on insurance defense and trial advocacy. The organization is seeking an accomplished litigator who can lead high-exposure matters, independently handle courtroom work, and provide strategic leadership to less experienced attorneys.
Please note: An active bar license in the State of Pennsylvania is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop persuasive case themes and courtroom strategies
- Handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently
- Manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Refuse to accept mediocrity and maintain high standards across assignments
- Work collaboratively with attorneys at all experience levels
- Communicate routinely with clients
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients
- Provide leadership and direction for less experienced attorneys
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA approved school
- Must be licensed in your state
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial
- Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
- Experience with time management systems
- Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision
- Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
- Annual billable hours bonus: $10,000, then aggregating with $7,500 for every additional tier

- 401(k): 100% match on the first 3% contributed and a 50% match on the following 4–5%
