This role is designed for an experienced immigration attorney, including those currently running their own practice, who seeks to scale their legal work without the operational burdens typically associated with managing a firm.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the public face of your practice, including participation in content creation, social media, client-facing materials, and press engagements.
  • Lead and develop a legal team by conducting case reviews, maintaining high standards, and mentoring the next generation of immigration attorneys.
  • Manage client cases with a focus on individual and extraordinary ability portfolios.
  • Maintain aggressive response time service level agreements (SLAs), uphold rigorous legal quality standards, and ensure high client satisfaction.

Support and Platform Provided

  • Base salary to provide financial stability.
  • Access to an inbound client pipeline generated through the organization's marketing and business development efforts.
  • Purpose-built technology to streamline workflows, including:
    • Automated coordination between attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
    • Smart draft review systems to track filing quality and provide feedback.
    • A unified context hub aggregating emails, meetings, and portal activity for comprehensive case management.
  • Paralegal and operational support to allow attorneys to focus on legal work rather than project management.

Compensation Structure

  • For cases sourced through the organization: base salary plus profit sharing based on team performance.
  • For self-sourced cases: base salary plus a higher profit share, reflecting ownership of the client book and referral network.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active U.S. bar admission.
  • Minimum of 7 years of immigration law experience, with a strong focus on individual and extraordinary ability cases.
  • Experience managing or mentoring legal teams.
  • Comfort with client-facing visibility, including thought leadership, social media presence, and media interactions.
  • An established professional network capable of generating referrals.
  • Entrepreneurial ambition with a desire to build and grow a practice, not just practice law.

Location

  • Remote position; candidates must be U.S.-based.
