Overview
A global organization is seeking an experienced in-house employment attorney for a contract engagement lasting 3+ months. This is an immediate need requiring substantial expertise in employment law advice and counsel, as well as litigation management experience. The role offers an opportunity to join a collegial and highly skilled legal team and make a significant impact. Candidates located in or near St. Louis, Missouri are preferred for hybrid or in-office work, but remote candidates will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert employment law advice and counsel
- Manage employment-related litigation and related legal matters
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal team members
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of attorney experience
- Extensive experience in employment law advice and counsel
- Extensive experience with litigation or litigation management
- In-house legal experience within a multi-state company preferred
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Strong professional references and outstanding reputation

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized pay range: $170,000 to $200,000 (full-time equivalent basis)
- Pay rate for contract engagements depends on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
