Overview
This role is for a Senior Associate and/or Of Counsel position focused primarily on defending wage and hour class and PAGA actions. The organization is a boutique labor and employment law firm with a national presence.
Responsibilities
- Defend wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims
- Contribute to strategy and decision-making on advanced class and PAGA matters
- Handle advanced tasks as part of a collaborative team approach
Requirements
- 5+ years of wage and hour litigation experience, including significant class and PAGA litigation
- Active California State Bar admission
- JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Excellent writing and legal analysis skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong research skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $190,000 - $300,000 depending on experience
