Overview
A premier corporate law department is seeking a Senior Paralegal to provide primary legal support related to Prescription Benefit Management and Healthcare Services. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently or as part of a team. Effective communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to influence and collaborate across business areas.
Responsibilities
- Support drafting and review of a wide variety of contracts.
- Collaborate with Client Account Management, Proposals, Finance, and other operational stakeholders to ensure contracts comply with business and operational standards.
- Assist with day-to-day communications and coordinate responses to inquiries from project stakeholders.
- Identify legal and business risks and provide solutions to internal partners to drive projects to successful outcomes.
- Manage information, including updating files and electronic data related to assigned projects.
- Conduct general legal research and provide contract administrative support.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Paralegal and/or Contract Administrator.
- At least 3 years of experience with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of paralegal and/or contract administrator experience.
- At least 2 years of commercial/service contract drafting experience.
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Experience in legal, compliance, or health plan environments.
- Familiarity with Westlaw.
- Experience with SalesForce.com.
- Bachelor's degree.
Education
Associate’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent related experience required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Typical pay range: $34.66 - $76.26 per hour (base rate or annual full-time salary equivalent).
- Actual salary offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
- Eligible for bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs in addition to base pay.
