Overview
A leading organization in the Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) market is seeking a Company Secretary to join their Paralegal team. This permanent, full-time role supports a global leader in financial services, providing company secretarial services with direct access to senior management. The position offers the opportunity to build a career locally while operating on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Organize board and board committee meetings, collate board materials, attend meetings, and take minutes.
- Monitor action items arising from board meetings.
- Promote and enforce consistent standards of legal entity governance and oversight according to internal client models and standards.
- Provide directors, senior management, and legal entities with support and training on corporate governance matters, including relevant laws, regulations, governance practices, and legal entity management.
- Assist with local, regional, and global regulatory and governance projects as needed.
- Maintain corporate records and certifications.
- Support application of corporate procedures and record retention related to governance and internal processes.
- Oversee data maintenance in Blueprint to facilitate regulatory reporting.
- Create and maintain investment structure charts for company secretarial and regulatory support.
- Provide regular legal entity reporting and analysis to senior management.
- Handle Compliance, Know Your Customer (KYC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requests.
Requirements
- Paralegal qualification.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Experience with Limited Partnership (LP) Transfers.
- Experience working within the financial services sector.
- Knowledge of the US regulatory environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Regular client-facing experience.
- Good commercial awareness with experience working directly with business managers.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Blueprint Company Secretarial Software.
Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated salary range: $125,000 - $150,000.
- Actual salary will be based on individual qualifications, experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
- Salary range excludes potential incentive bonuses and benefits.

- The role requires adherence to Information Security Management System policies and procedures as part of an ISO Compliant center.
