Overview
This role works within a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by the organization’s global expertise. The Site Contract and Budget Specialist designs and analyzes clinical trials, interprets complex medical data, and contributes to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to clinical trial activities and vendor relationships.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess contract risks, identify improvement opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract status, milestones, and deliverables using contract management systems.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation, compliance, and dispute resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory requirements related to clinical trials and vendor agreements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex contractual issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%).
