Overview

A global telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm founded in 2003 owns 2,200 sites and facilities hosting mission-critical wireless and telecom transmission assets as well as renewable power generation projects. The organization holds real property or real property interests across the United States and several European countries including Italy, Spain, France, Germany, and Poland. Capital is primarily provided by a major Paris-based asset manager with $200 billion assets under management. The firm is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking key team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to support the origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets in the United States.
  • Manage a pipeline of deals across the US, facilitating communication between pricing, origination, legal, and management teams.
  • Negotiate and draft documents related to commercial real estate transactions.
  • Oversee due diligence activities and underwrite assets considering lease terms, projected cash flow, and operator, offtaker, and facility information.
  • Provide advice on strategic transactions and commercial matters.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 6-12 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney at a mid to large-sized law firm and in-house at a renewable energy developer.
  • Understanding of financing, development, and operation of solar, wind, and battery projects.
  • Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
  • Proficiency with technology and remote work.
