Overview
The organization is assembling a pool of experienced litigators for Staff Attorney - Litigation roles in support of a client, an Am Law 50 firm, with high-volume litigation.
Ideal candidates will be barred in one of the following states: Florida, Texas, Virginia, or California.
This work is fully remote, except for in-person hearings, depositions, and similar requirements. The schedule is full-time or close to full-time, and candidates should be comfortable managing cases from beginning to end. Candidates should also be comfortable using AI to help work up and manage cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist the firm with a portfolio of litigation matters
- Manage and handle approximately 20–30 cases
- Handle cases from beginning to end
- Use AI to help work up and manage cases
- Attend in-person hearings, depositions, etc., as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably at a highly-respected large or boutique law firm
- Experience with high-volume litigation
- Experience handling cases from beginning to end
- Experience or comfort using AI to work up and manage cases
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of professionalism
- Outstanding professional references
Preferred Qualifications
- Bar membership in one of the following states: Florida, Texas, Virginia, or California
- Comfort and experience using AI in litigation and litigation management
Compensation & Benefits
Pay (annualized, contract position; calculated on a full-time basis)
- For candidates barred in Florida, Texas, or Virginia: $150,000 to $200,000
- For candidates barred in California: $200,000 to $300,000
Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors, including (but not limited to) work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
