Overview
The organization is assembling a pool of experienced litigators for Staff Attorney – Litigation roles supporting an Am Law 50 firm with high-volume litigation. Work will be fully remote, except for in-person hearings, depositions, and similar proceedings. Cases will be managed from beginning to end.
Ideal candidates will be barred in one of the following states: Florida, Texas, Virginia, or California, and will be comfortable using AI to work up and manage litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist with a portfolio of high-volume litigation matters
- Manage and handle approximately 20–30 cases at a time
- Handle matters from beginning to end
- Use AI to help work up cases and manage litigation
- Participate in in-person hearings, depositions, and other required proceedings
- Provide exceptional verbal and written communication to support case management and litigation needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably at a highly-respected large or boutique law firm
- Experience with high-volume litigation
- Experience handling cases from beginning to end
- Experience or comfort using AI to work up and manage cases
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of professionalism
- Outstanding professional references
- Bar membership in one of: Florida, Texas, Virginia, or California
Compensation & Benefits
Pay (annualized, contract engagement; calculated on a full-time basis):
- Barred in Florida, Texas, or Virginia: $150,000 to $200,000
- Barred in California: $200,000 to $300,000
Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate).
