Overview

A leading organization in the Information Technology sector is seeking a Strategic Partner to Corporate General Counsel Clients (Senior Director/Analyst) for a fully remote position based in the United States. This role focuses on driving initiatives that combine scalable technology, AI-enabled capabilities, and business transformation. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term innovation.

Location: Remote (U.S. based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available)

Compensation: $172,000 – $202,500 annually

Responsibilities

  • Develop actionable research and recommendations for General Counsel
  • Monitor emerging trends and regulatory changes affecting the legal function
  • Respond to press inquiries and represent the organization at industry events
  • Support sales efforts by providing market expertise to prospective clients
  • Assist analysts in developing client-focused content
  • Provide timely peer review of research to ensure quality
  • Engage clients regularly to promote organizational insights
  • Create high-value presentations for events and conferences

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with 12 years of in-house legal experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience presenting to boards and leading risk management initiatives
  • Experience serving as General Counsel or in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and interact with senior executives
  • Strong executive presence and credibility with stakeholders
  • High learning agility in dynamic environments
  • Exceptional communication skills tailored to diverse audiences

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in risk management and compliance/ethics frameworks
  • Familiarity with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) trends
  • Experience as Assistant General Counsel (AGC)
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
  • Skilled in presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Competence in data analysis tools such as Excel and Tableau
