Overview
A remote contract opportunity is available for a Legal Expert specializing in Real Estate, Tax, Bankruptcy, and Estates. This role involves contributing legal expertise to improve AI model performance by designing scenarios, evaluating AI responses, and providing detailed feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design realistic specialty scenarios based on professional practice in Real Estate, Tax, Bankruptcy, and Trusts & Estates.
- Write high-quality, attorney-level "golden" reference responses.
- Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
- Provide written feedback to enhance AI model behavior.
- Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Real Estate, Tax, Bankruptcy, or Trusts & Estates.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a U.S. or Canadian accredited law school, or LL.B./LL.M. from a U.K. accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. (active or inactive license accepted).
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple specialties.
- LL.M. in Tax or Estate Planning.
- In-house legal experience at a real estate developer, financial institution, or wealth management firm.
- Experience with bankruptcy court or trustee work.
Compensation & Commitment
- Contract position paid hourly at $85–$120 per hour.
- Commitment of 20–40 hours per week.
