Overview

This role supports a global technology and AI business by owning and negotiating commercial agreements, partnering with go-to-market teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage the full agreement lifecycle.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate customer, SaaS, reseller, service level, vendor, and partnership agreements.
  • Advise go-to-market teams to help move deals forward while balancing business goals and legal risk.
  • Support privacy and data protection work, including negotiating data processing agreements (DPAs) and strengthening privacy practices across relevant markets.
  • Coordinate and manage complex cross-border transactions with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate commercial, privacy, and intellectual property considerations into practical, actionable recommendations.
  • Improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and legal workflows to increase efficiency and consistency as recurring work scales.

Requirements

  • J.D., LL.B., or equivalent law degree.
  • Admission to practice in the United States, an EU member state, or Israel.
  • 4+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm, a technology company, or a combination of both.
  • Experience independently drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements, including complex enterprise customer contracts.
  • Practical experience with DPAs and privacy requirements such as GDPR and California and other U.S. state privacy laws.
  • Working knowledge of intellectual property and copyright issues relevant to technology agreements.
  • Strong commercial judgment and careful drafting skills, with the ability to clearly explain legal issues to business partners.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage negotiations across multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a SaaS or AI business.
  • A combination of law firm and in-house experience.
  • Familiarity with AI regulation.
  • Experience negotiating data purchasing or licensing agreements.
  • Experience building legal processes in a growing technology company.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation includes base salary, plus bonus and equity.
  • Base compensation range: $206,400—$258,000 USD
