Overview
A global public company client is seeking a Technology Transactions Attorney for a 6-month remote contract engagement, with potential extension to 12 months. This role involves drafting and negotiating complex technology, software, cloud, and enterprise licensing agreements.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex technology transactions, including software licensing, cloud services, and enterprise commercial agreements
- Support high-volume transactional work across multiple geographies and customer segments
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in technology transactions
- Experience working in the corporate practice group of a large or sophisticated boutique law firm, or in the corporate legal department of a major corporation is preferred
- Active law license in good standing in the state of residence
- Outstanding professional references
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly preferred, especially for supporting customers in Latin America
Position Details
- Contract duration: 6 months, with potential to extend to 12 months
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week guaranteed)
- Location: Remote
Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized salary range: $170,000 to $200,000
- Compensation is based on factors including experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference
- Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
