Overview

This role is for experienced Texas litigation attorneys seeking flexible contract engagements. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely, hybrid, or on-site with a schedule that can be full-time, part-time, or a combination.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, including document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings
  • Conduct depositions, participate in status conferences, and argue motions
  • Serve clients in areas such as commercial litigation, intellectual property, energy, oil and gas, construction, premises liability, or products liability

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts
  • Experience with all stages of litigation
  • Excellent communication, research, and writing skills
  • Outstanding academic credentials and references
  • Prior experience at an AmLaw 200 law firm is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay ranges from $120,000 to $200,000+ on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, and credentials
  • Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
