Overview
This position is for experienced litigation attorneys to join the Toxic Tort law practice group in the New York City office. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in general liability (toxic tort law experience is preferred).
Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters within the Toxic Tort practice group
- Serve as lead or second counsel in depositions, motion practice, and trials
- Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis to support case strategy and advocacy
Requirements
- Licensed in New York
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in general liability (toxic tort law preferred)
- Extensive deposition, motion, and trial experience acting as a lead or second counsel
- Clerkship experience or law review membership
- Excellent academic credentials
- Proven skills in writing, analysis, and research
Preferred Qualifications
- Admission in New Jersey
- Toxic tort law experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Eligibility for both discretionary and performance-based bonuses

- Pay range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $275,000.00 /Yr.
- The organization’s current national base salary ranges are:
- Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+
- Actual compensation is tailored to the individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
