Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking an Associate with at least 3 years of direct trademark experience, including clearance and prosecution. The candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong written and spoken skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios
- Handle complex, high-level U.S. and international trademark clearance
- Conduct complex prosecution work
- Work on trademark issues for name-brand clients
- Preferably have experience working with entertainment companies
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of direct trademark experience with clearance and prosecution
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required
- JD or LLM degree
- Admission to the bar in the resident state
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent legal writing and critical thinking skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to manage a high-volume docket
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with entertainment industry clients
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected salary range: $250,000 to $320,000
Location
Ideal office locations include Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley (Menlo Park), Seattle, Walnut Creek, Washington DC, or Winston Salem. Remote candidates in other U.S. locations will also be considered.
