Overview
A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking Transportation Litigation Attorneys for its Baltimore office. Candidates with 3 to 7 years of experience are preferred, but all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, are available.
The firm represents leading transportation and logistics companies in complex injury, property damage, and casualty cases involving land, sea, and air. Attorneys provide immediate guidance during accidents and investigations and have successfully advocated for clients up to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Applicants must have an excellent academic background, strong writing, analytical, and research skills, and be self-starters capable of managing cases from inception with minimal supervision. A commitment to superior client service is essential. Trial experience is preferred but not required.
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Represent transportation and logistics clients in high-stakes litigation involving injury, property damage, and casualty matters
- Provide guidance during accident investigations
- Manage cases independently from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare for trial as needed
Requirements
- Admission to the Maryland Bar
- 3 to 7 years of relevant litigation experience preferred; all experience levels considered
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Commitment to client service
- Trial experience preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $275,000 annually, depending on experience and role level:
- Associates (1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
- Compensation is individualized based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market
