Location: Orange or Van Nuys (Remote OK)
Compensation: $300,000 base + strong bonus potential for high-billers.
Alternate compensation package: $200k+ for only 190–200 hours.
This role is for an experienced workers’ compensation defense attorney who wants the ability to tailor compensation and workload to their preferred way of practicing. The opportunity offers significant flexibility, modern case management, strong support staff, and more control over how the practice is run.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned workers’ compensation defense caseload in alignment with the selected billing model
- Handle matters consistent with modern case-management systems
- Maintain performance targets tied to billing and bonus eligibility
- Work with experienced support staff to support efficient case handling

High-Biller / $300K+ Model
- Higher billing expectations
- Approximately 80–95 cases
- $300,000+ base compensation
- Significant additional earning potential through bonuses
Flexible / Low-Hours Model
- 180–200 billable hours/month

- Lower-volume, more manageable practice

- Still eligible for performance-based bonuses
