Overview
A law firm is seeking workers' compensation attorneys to join their team throughout the State of California. This position offers remote and hybrid work options, with no requirement for California residency. The salary range is $100,000 to $220,000, with exact compensation depending on skills, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
- Provide defense counsel services in workers' compensation cases.
- Deliver proactive and responsive client service from assignment through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation defense.
- Manage cases efficiently in a fully paperless, web-based environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of workers' compensation defense experience preferred.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar is required.
- Experience with Defense Base Act/Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation is a plus.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fully paperless environment using web-based legal tools.
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to build effective working relationships.
