Overview
A nationally recognized law firm with nearly 250 attorneys across California, Oregon, and Washington, D.C., is seeking a Staff Attorney for its Advanced Records Center (ARC). The firm specializes in complex legal issues for public agencies, businesses, and individuals, emphasizing professionalism and community service.
Responsibilities
- Handle Public Records Act requests for municipal clients primarily in California and ideally Nevada.
- Supervise a team of paralegals and reviewers dedicated to records management.
- Manage e-discovery processes related to public records requests.
- Travel to client offices and courts throughout California and Nevada as needed.
Requirements
- Admission to practice law in California is mandatory.
- Extensive experience and substantive knowledge of the Public Records Act.
- Extensive experience with e-discovery; e-discovery certification is preferred.
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of paralegals and reviewers.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 - $125,000, commensurate with years of practice and experience.
Location
- This position may be remote; however, travel to client offices and courts throughout California and Nevada is expected.
