Overview
The organization is seeking attorneys with experience in AI governance for flexible contract opportunities with clients. As AI adoption grows, there is increasing demand for legal professionals who can design and operationalize AI governance programs.
Engagements are typically fully remote and flexible, with work arrangements ranging from part-time to full-time. Opportunities may arise with both law firms and in-house legal teams and can include contract engagements and, at times, permanent positions.
Responsibilities
- Design and operationalize AI governance programs for client needs
- Provide legal guidance related to AI governance and compliance
- Support implementation of AI legal and regulatory frameworks
Requirements
- 7+ years of legal experience, with a focus on technology, intellectual property, privacy, data rights, cybersecurity, and AI regulation
- Experience with compliance or AI governance programs
- Knowledge of AI legal and regulatory frameworks, such as the EU AI Act
- AIGP certification a plus
- Licensed to practice law in the US and in good standing
- Excellent academic credentials and outstanding references

Compensation & Benefits
Pay: Expected annualized pay for these contract opportunities ranges from $120,000 to $250,000+ when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay determinations are based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
