Overview
This role involves providing paralegal support for complex U.S. business immigration cases, focusing on Exceptional Ability visas such as EB1-A, EB2-NIW, and O-1. The position is fully remote and open to applicants worldwide. Compensation ranges from $15 to $25 per hour, with a maximum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead clients through the process of submitting required evidence accurately and on time.
- Prepare USCIS forms, draft expert cover letters, compile exhibits, and assist in building persuasive narratives for immigration cases.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing updates, answering questions, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Track deadlines, monitor case progress, and ensure cases remain on schedule.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to anticipate needs, align on preferences, and support legal strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. business immigration, with a strong focus on Exceptional Ability visas (EB1-A, EB2-NIW, and O-1).
- Proven ability to manage paralegal workflows from client intake through final filing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
- Experience communicating directly with clients, preferably in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable using legal technology and open to working in a growth-oriented, innovative environment.
- Bonus: Experience working in a remote-first team or startup environment.
