Overview

A global provider of intelligent automation solutions for intralogistics and manufacturing is seeking a legal professional to support its legal team. The organization specializes in sectors including healthcare, fashion/apparel, general retail, food retail, industry, and service, focusing on advancing warehouse automation through continuous innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Review and draft various legal documents such as nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), contracts, articles of incorporation, briefs, and legal memoranda
  • Provide occasional support with immigration matters
  • Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy
  • Identify relevant statutes, legal articles, codes, and other pertinent materials
  • Conduct legal and factual research of records
  • Organize, cross-check, validate, and analyze information
  • Prepare written reports and correspondence
  • Build and maintain databases and files
  • Review employment agreement job descriptions and severance agreements
  • Review and approve change orders, purchase orders, and proposals
  • Draft and review letters of intent (LOIs)
  • Assist and provide support to the Legal Team, General Counsel, and various cross-functional departments as assigned

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution
  • Membership in good standing of a state bar
  • 1 to 3 years of direct legal experience; experience in construction and/or technology fields preferred
  • Experience with immigration law is a plus
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, editing, and negotiating various agreements including commercial, technical, and licensing agreements
  • Thorough knowledge of legal principles, practices, research techniques, terminology, and communication principles
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly redlining/editing in Word
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Excellent critical thinking, time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, strong work ethic, and sense of ownership and accountability
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong desire to learn, highly motivated, and willing to work on a wide variety of projects

Working Conditions

  • Occasional travel may be required (less than 2%)
  • Authorization to work in the United States required
  • Ability to obtain a valid passport
  • Physical requirements include sitting for long periods, standing, walking, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 25 pounds
