Associate Attorney (Remote)
This role offers a unique opportunity for a legal professional to apply their expertise in the healthcare industry by advocating for providers in insurance claim disputes. The position is fully remote within the U.S. and focuses on resolving complex healthcare insurance claim denials and delays to optimize revenue cycles for hospitals and health systems.
Responsibilities
- Represent healthcare providers in administrative appeals for denied insurance claims.
- Develop creative and effective legal arguments to overturn claim denials.
- Draft compelling and well-researched appeal letters to insurance companies and benefit administrators.
- Utilize provider manuals and managed care contracts to dispute unjust denials.
- Collaborate with provider representatives and resolution teams to manage complex claims.
- Identify industry trends and provide insights to improve recovery strategies.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000–$65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
