Overview
This role involves providing contract drafting and negotiation services, requiring a minimum of two to four years of experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation. Preferred experience includes M&A buy-side and sell-side transactions, data protection/privacy, service agreements, procurement contracts, terms & conditions, purchase orders, and NDAs.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contract types and agreements
- Utilize contract management systems and operate within client environments
- Communicate effectively with clients and their stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and achieve specific business goals
- Attend stakeholder and team meetings
- Provide guidance to stakeholders based on legal guidance, company policy, and processes
- Independently manage workload by prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Perform additional tasks or create reports as assigned
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Bar admission to any state is preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of contract negotiation experience with strong drafting skills
- Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding customer service attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail
