Overview
This role supports the organization’s Deal Intake and M&A transactional workstreams. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing engagement documentation for shareholder representative and escrow/payment business lines, as well as managing deals through closing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle a pro rata share of Deals.
- Coordinate with the Deal team (BD Reps, RMs, and RAs) and facilitate escalations of compromises or unique responsibilities on Deals.
- Interface with Deal clients and their counsel.
- Review, negotiate, and finalize Deal documents, including acquisition agreements, engagement letters, escrow agreements, paying agent agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other related transactional agreements.
- Maintain expertise in M&A market terms and complete knowledge of the organization’s approved procedures and guidance for Deal documents.
- Assist with maintaining and updating intake procedures and training new intake attorneys.
- Manage deals through closing to ensure a successful engagement experience for clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- J.D. from a nationally ranked, accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state.
- Prefer 1–2 years of legal work experience post-law school.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, dynamic projects/Deals.
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines and solve problems when unexpected issues arise.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- Ability to quickly and carefully review and understand complex agreements.

Compensation
- Salary range: $120k–$125K, depending on experience.

Location
This position is either:
- Hybrid out of the Denver, CO office, or
- Fully remote within the Continental United States.
Hybrid work expectations
- If the selected candidate lives within a 20-mile radius of the downtown Denver office:
- Beginning September 8, 2026, working one day per week in the office is expected.
- Beginning February 1, 2027, two days per week in the office are expected.
Fully remote work expectations
- If the selected candidate lives outside a 20-mile radius of the Denver office: fully remote.
- In-person onsite visits to Denver headquarters are required on average three times per year.
