Overview
This fully remote Attorney Auditor position is open to candidates residing in any of the 50 United States. The role involves reviewing legal and non-legal invoices on behalf of clients, including insurance carriers, corporate legal departments, and government entities. The auditor applies client-specific billing guidelines and Generally Accepted Principles and Standards (GAPS) to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply clients’ billing guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with clients to develop or enhance billing protocols.
- Communicate effectively with law firms regarding compliance with billing requirements.
- Manage invoice workflow efficiently.
- Work independently to finalize and approve legal invoices for payment.
- Consistently meet established performance standards for production.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production objectives and goals.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in insurance defense or complex litigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and law firms.
- Ability to work independently and manage workflow effectively.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to meet deadlines.

- Competitive salary with a starting pay range of $70,000 to $75,000 (subject to location and experience).
