Overview

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its Southern California team. This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level trial attorney with at least five years of hands-on litigation experience who wishes to focus on warranty defense matters involving automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealerships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of trial and arbitration proceedings
  • Conduct depositions and witness examinations
  • Draft and argue motions
  • Handle mediations and settlement negotiations
  • Deliver opening and closing arguments

Requirements

  • Active license and good standing with the California Bar
  • Minimum of five years of litigation experience
  • Significant courtroom and arbitration exposure
  • Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and case strategy independently
  • Professionalism, organization, and effective communication skills

Prior warranty-specific experience is not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $170,000 to $200,000, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Eligibility for discretionary bonus
