This contract attorney position involves contributing legal expertise to the training and improvement of next-generation AI systems. The role focuses on providing high-quality, real-world legal input to enhance AI model performance, particularly in the legal domain. The attorney will engage in complex legal research, document analysis, and case strategy development to support AI development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement legal rubrics for AI-driven document review and analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft detailed memoranda to guide AI model training and evaluation.
• Analyze large volumes of litigation documents to identify issues, trends, and data points critical for AI improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate legal insights into actionable AI development requirements.
• Oversee the quality and accuracy of AI outputs, providing feedback to enhance discovery management and motion practice.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in AI-driven legal workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in complex legal research and writing, with the ability to analyze and interpret extensive legal data.
• Experience in discovery management and case strategy development, including issue identification and strategy formulation.
• Strong document analysis and issue-spotting capabilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of legal principles and practices, with the ability to apply knowledge to practical problems and develop innovative solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate between $100 and $150.
