A tech-driven immigration law firm based in New York is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join and lead their legal department. Responsibilities
- Manage a broad portfolio of business immigration cases, including E-1, E-2, L-1, H-1B, and EB-2/3 PERM petitions.
- Prepare and review petitions submitted to USCIS, DOL, and other agencies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Develop case strategies that are honest, creative, and designed to succeed, based on thorough eligibility assessments.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing clear and timely communication for both corporate clients and individual beneficiaries.
- Monitor changes in immigration law and policy, translating updates into actionable insights for the team.
- Collaborate to improve efficiency by streamlining and automating workflows, working closely with the firm's proprietary case management platform.
Requirements
- Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar; New Jersey bar membership preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling E-1, E-2, L-1, H-1B, and EB-2/3 PERM immigration matters.
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills with the ability to simplify complex legal issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Comfortable using legal technology and practice management systems, with a mindset geared toward process improvement.
