Overview

This position offers a highly flexible work arrangement, allowing the successful candidate to work remotely without the administrative and client-development responsibilities typical of a shareholder or partner track role. The role requires residency in a state where the organization maintains a physical office.

The employer is a large international law firm with a significant business immigration practice, serving domestic and international corporations to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume business immigration cases efficiently.
  • Develop strategies to support international employee transfers.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft affidavits and briefs.
  • Prioritize case management tasks and take initiative to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain excellent proofreading, editing, and reading comprehension skills.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the primary state of residence.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing business immigration law.
  • Experience working in a high-volume business immigration practice group.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Excellent research, writing, proofreading, and time management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $140,000 annually (consistent across multiple states including Colorado, New York, California, Washington, DC, Maryland, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and New Jersey).
  • Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
