Overview
A legal staffing organization is seeking a California-barred commercial litigation attorney with significant complex commercial litigation experience to work on a part-time, engagement basis with a sophisticated Am Law client. This fully remote role offers flexibility and the opportunity to participate in high-level litigation work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and respond to discovery activities, including taking basic depositions and drafting responses and motions
- Perform legal research and write briefs
- Prepare legal pleadings, motions, and statements
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Minimum of 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience
- Prior experience at a full-service Am Law firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique
- Strong pretrial skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized compensation ranges from $165,000 to $200,000 or more, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
- W2 employee status with eligibility for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
