Overview
This Legal Support Paralegal role assists attorneys by providing clerical and research support across a growing caseload. Responsibilities include document preparation and review, client and witness interviewing support, research and fact checking, discovery responses, deposition preparation and notices, travel reservation, expense reporting, legal document preparation and filing, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
- Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
- Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.
- Interview clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and other materials.
- Assist with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.
- Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
- Organize, enter, and cross-reference documents in a computerized database.
- Prepare discovery requests and responses.
- Assist general counsel with special projects as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Paralegal Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years experience (preferred).
