Overview
A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking Civil Litigation Attorneys for its South Jersey office. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience are preferred, but all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Openings are available in defense litigation across various practice areas, including Products Liability, General Liability, Complex Commercial, Construction, and Professional Liability.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation cases primarily in defense practice areas
- Participate in client interactions, hearings, depositions, and trials
- Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal documents
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Manage assignments with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey; admission in Pennsylvania is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience preferred, but all levels considered
- Strong litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven research abilities and strong academic background
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Trial experience is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges:
- Associates: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
- Partners: $190,000 - $275,000 per year
- Actual salary will be based on skills, experience, training, and location
- Eligibility for subjective and objective bonuses
