Overview
A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking Civil Litigation Attorneys for its Ontario/Inland Empire office. Candidates at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, are available.
Openings exist in several practice areas including Employment, Environmental, Toxic Tort, Product, Commercial, General Liability, Healthcare, and Professional Liability. Ideal candidates are driven team players with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills. Strong academic backgrounds, proven research abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision are required. Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in the State of California.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation cases across various practice areas
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with team members and clients
- Manage assignments with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Admission to the California State Bar
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Trial experience preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $275,000 annually, depending on experience and role level:
- Associates (1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
- Compensation is tailored based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market
