Overview
A Southern California law firm has immediate openings for civil litigation attorneys at all experience levels. Flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, are available for successful candidates.
Openings exist in practice areas such as Employment, Environmental, Toxic Tort, Product Liability, Commercial, General Liability, Healthcare, Construction, and Professional Liability. Candidates should be driven team players with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills. A strong academic background, proven research skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are required. Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in California.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation cases across various practice areas
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with team members and clients
- Manage assignments with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Admission to the California State Bar
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven research capabilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Trial experience preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranges:
- Associates (1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
- Actual compensation varies based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market
- Eligibility for discretionary and performance-based bonuses
